About the role

The GelBottle Inc. is on an exciting growth journey, and we're looking for a Regulatory & Quality Assurance Executive to be part of our vibrant, founder-led company. Please note this role is working 2-3 days a week in our Central Brighton HQ.

This is an exciting new opportunity due to growth, you'll join our Product team and help keep our products, launches and quality processes on track. You’ll get hands-on across everything from product compliance and testing to quality checks, artwork and regulatory documentation, while building your expertise in cosmetics regulation within a supportive team.

Your Role:

• Support product compliance and quality assurance across our growing product portfolio.

• Help prepare and maintain Product Information Files (PIFs) and key technical documentation.

• Complete UK SCPN notifications and support product registrations across international markets.

• Review ingredients, INCI lists, claims, artwork and labelling to help keep products compliant and launch-ready.

• Coordinate product testing, approvals and follow-up actions, keeping everything moving through the compliance process.

• Carry out routine quality control inspections, flagging and escalating any issues or risks.

• Support complaint investigations, corrective actions and quality trend reporting.

• Keep product data, regulatory records, approvals and trackers accurate and up to date.

• Work closely with NPD, Design, Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Service to support smooth product launches.

• Keep up with regulatory changes and support audits, document control and improvements to compliance processes.

About you:

You’re organised, detail-focused and naturally curious, with an interest in cosmetics regulation and quality. You enjoy getting stuck into the detail, can confidently manage multiple priorities and know when something needs escalating. Most importantly, you’re keen to keep learning and build your technical expertise within a fast-moving Product team. 

You will have:

• Experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, quality assurance, product development or a similar technical role.

• Super organised with a great eye for detail and confidence working with technical information.

• A clear communicator with the judgement to spot issues and know when to escalate.

• Proactive, curious and keen to build your regulatory and quality knowledge.

• Experience within beauty, cosmetics, personal care or another regulated consumer product environment would be a big plus.

• Exposure to UK or EU cosmetics requirements, PIFs or product notifications would be beneficial.

• Experience reviewing artwork, claims, ingredients or supplier documentation is desirable.

• Any knowledge of product testing, complaints, CAPA, audits or quality systems would be advantageous.

• A relevant scientific, regulatory, quality or technical qualification is a bonus, but not essential.
